    Description

    Here we have a rare, New Old Stock
    ZENITH Radio Tube #42
    In Its Original Box
    Box comes with all the flaps, however, 1 or 2 have become detached.
    Some minor damage and water stains can be seen on the box.
    Box dimensions: 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 5"

    The 42 is an Audio Output Pentode. This one comes in the ST (Coke bottle) shape. It has an tight, engraved base with no loose parts inside. It looks and tests as if NEW.
    On my Hickok / Western Electric KS-5750-L2 tester,
    where the minimum Transconductance is called out as 1550, this tube measured 2700.
    Cathode current at 27mA.
