Ajax Radio Buzzer (1921) Crystal Radio Calibration Device on Board w/Key Parts

Description

Offered is the Ajax Radio Buzzer.  These little buzzers were used to "calibrate" crystal radio detectors to verify that the radio detector was working. The buzzer housing is black-painted turned wood and it appears to be in good condition.  Two binding posts remain in place and the two top screws appear original and in good condition. The buzzer is board-mounted.  The bottom base of an early key also remains in place on top of the board.  The board and key base bear no manufacturers name or type numbers.  The buzzer coil reads open, and it is offered untested and for parts or restoration.
