    Description

    Offered is the Atwater Kent 8-Inch Radio Speaker. The speaker is in great shape and it works.  8 1/2 inch overall diameter.  Mounting holes are at 8 inches on center.  Cord and original plug are in good condition with minimal fraying of the outside sheath-cord still pliable. 4-Pin Plug is also in good condition.   The speaker frame is clean and free of rust.  The paper cone appears to be a nice original.  Battery tested-produced pops and noises. Field coil measures just about 2K ohms and the primary of the output transformer measures 500 ohms. The output transformer appears to be a giant replacement, it too is clean and in good condition.  Grab the speaker for your own AK table radio.  It is probably suitable for many AK models including the desirable Cathedral radios of the early 1930s as well as tombstone radios of that same era.  Offered "as is" due to age and tested only as noted above. Nearly 7 pounds packed up. NO RESERVE!! Thanks for looking.
