    Bank Check drawn on Mechanics & Traders Bank, Green Point, NY.  Signed by Theodore L. Bird and made payable to Theodore L. Bird (Pay Check?) and signed by him on the back dated Oct 5th, 1889.  Nice vignette of Theodore S. Bird's Floating Dry Dock, Foot of India Street.  What is there now?  Does India Street still exist?  2 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches.  Looks like they are working on a fire damaged ferry.
