    Description

    This is for 6 stunning cream soup bowls with double handles and under plate saucers making it a 12 pc set.
    The 2 piece antique cream soup bowl and under plate saucer set is called Booths Dovedale A8044, age circa early 1900's-1920's.
    The antique cream double handles soup bowl has Imari style colors of cobalt blue and rust designs on both the outside and inside of the soup bowl area against a white background.
    Gilt gold is around the rim, handles and on the design directly.  Measurement of the soup bowl 4 6/8" in diameter.  6" handle to handle. 1 6/8" high.
    The saucer has a scalloped edge and is 6" in diameter.  It also has the Imari style colors of cobalt blue and rust on a white background.  The saucer is beautifully accented with gold gilt on the edges as well as on the Imari design.
    The Dovedale dinnerware pattern is quite striking with heavy gold gilt designs and is in traditional Imari syle colors of cobalt blue and rust.  The design is of flowers and leaves in both blue and red.
    The designs are on a white background which makes the colors really stand out.  The lavish gold gilt trim appears on all the pieces around the edges of the cream soup and saucer and the cobalt blue and rust design is deeply accented with gold.
    Condition:  The 12 piece set is in very good pre-owned condition however it is old and has been used.  There will be some light surface scratching from utensils, light wear consistent with light use, tiny manufacturing blemishes, only noticeable on very close inspection.   A couple of blue paint dots.  Minor wear to the gold gilt.
