    Description

    One, vintage NOS (New Old Stock) IF transformer coil
    LIMITED STOCK
    Metal can measures 2-1/4 long by 3/4 wide. TWO adjustable ferrite slugs inside. Internal construction is similar to radio IF transformers.
    Each coil has a 100pF capacitor in parallel with it
    .
    These capacitors are built into the base, and are
    not
    visible
    .
    The inductance measures approximately 8mH (millihenry) on our meter, but this is outside the meter range, and may also be affected by the capacitors.
    These coils need windings removed, to use as 455 KHz IF transformers in AM radios.  This is easy to do, find the outside wire, and just pull it off.  See photo.
    Items must be in original, unused condition for refund.
