BI-Metal blades have a high speed matrix cutting edge, electron beam welded to a low alloy shock resistant back which resists heat up to 1000°.   Bi-metal blades provide faster cutting rates, increased longevity (up to 10 times longer than carbon flex back and hard back) excellent toughness, shock and abrasion resistance.  Use on standard vertical and horizontal metal cutting band saws.  The 1/2" wide blades are excellent for straight and mild contour cuts on vertical machines and cutoff operations on common 4" x 6" horizontal saws.
