Saylor Guitars unfinished CNC Alder “Stratobird” Firebird style body; Filtertron routs; 5 lbs. 3 oz.
This is one of two Firebird-style bodies that I purchased from Saylor Guitars back in December 2014 for a project that I never proceeded with.
It’s what Saylor calls a “Stratobird Firecaster” and as you can see it’s a hybrid design that’s basically a Firebird shape routed for a standard 6-hole vintage-style Strat Trem and a Telecaster control rout.  It's been sitting in its original shipping carton for 7 years.
It’s a two-piece CNC-made body in Oregon Red Alder that has been lightly sanded. You need to do the finish sanding. As is the case with all Saylor bodies, it’s quality construction, very nicely made.
25.5-inch scale.
Routed for TV Jones NE Filtertron pickups.
Standard Telecaster-style input jack rout.
The neck pocket is cut to fit a Stratocaster style neck. The neck pocket dimensions are 2
3/16" x 3" x 5/8".  The neck pocket
is cut for a Fender American neck but MIM and most Strat replacement necks should fit.
Weight is 5 lbs. 3 oz.

I WILL ONLY SHIP TO YOUR CONFIRMED E-BAY/PAYPAL SHIPPING ADDRESS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please make sure your shipping address is updated and correct. I ONLY ACCEPT BIDS FROM, AND SHIP TO, CONFIRMED E-BAY MEMBERS WHO RESIDE WITHIN THE LOWER 48 STATES OF THE UNITED STATES.

Your item will be carefully packaged and shipped via UPS, FEDEX, or USPS. I will not ship to FPO, APO, P.O. Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, and there is NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
3.
I cannot and will not re-route any packages to alternate addresses and I cannot and will not re-route to a FEDEX or UPS office for pickup.
If you need your package to be re-routed, you can easily make those arrangements by contacting either FEDEX or UPS at their toll-free number.

I make every effort to ship the next business day after your payment is received.
However, on occasion it can take up to 3 business days to ship an item.

Shipping will typically take 3-7 business days depending on where in the U.S. you are located.

When the item ships I will send you an email with the UPS, FEDEX, or USPS tracking number.

I SHIP HIGH-DOLLAR-VALUE ITEMS "SIGNATURE REQUIRED."
THAT MEANS YOU MUST BE AT HOME TO SIGN FOR YOUR PACKAGE. A good workaround for this is to simply call the UPS or FEDEX toll-free number after we provide you with the tracking number for your item and instruct them to hold the parcel at your local UPS or FEDEX facility for you to pick up.
Shipping "signature required" will be standard practice on all guitars, basses, drums, cymbals, and amplifiers that have sold at a substantial price. Smaller, less expensive items such as hardware, pickups, effects pedals, and other items that can be shipped via UPS, FedEx, or through the Post Office will be shipped without a required signature.
