Two beautiful Booths "Chinese Tree" A8001 serving bowls, made in England. These high quality pieces were made by Thomas Booth Company sometime between 1912-1929. This company eventually merged with Royal Doulton in 1971. I believe they are hand-painted over transferware. The smaller oblong bowl is 8-3/4" long, 7" wide, and 1-5/8" high. This bowl has no chips or cracks, but there is crazing noted, mostly on the underside of the bowl.  The large round bowl measures 8-1/2" in diameter at the top, and 2-1/4" in height. This bowl has no chips, cracks or noticeable crazing. These bowls have been used and enjoyed, and carefully stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home.
