VINTAGE 1940's KENT WOOD/FABRIC CASE PORTABLE AM RADIO

Description

Sweet little VINTAGE 1940's  KENT 9722 WOOD CASE AM RADIO Working well.  This radio does not have any labeling to clearly identify it.  The Kent name on the dial confirms it as a Kent. Radiomuseum.org does show this radio as  "Unknown2" model.  HOWEVER, I also found schematics indicating that this radio is very similar to the KENT 9722 or 9822 models.
Nice vintage working piece. Condition is Used.  Restored, aligned, capacitors replaced. Clean chassis. Tubes checked/replaced.  AC Power.   8" x 6" x 5.5"
Receives most of the AM band with good sensitivity and has good sound.  It seems to be weak in reception in the 550-700KHz range of the AM band. Makes a great display piece.  I added a LED Dial light  and replaced the missing rear panel.
Old radios are sold as is without any guarantee, due to their age.  I test them thoroughly and check one last time before carefully packing.  They work as described when I ship.
