Antique Vintage Marathon Guilloche Enamel Carry All Compact. The Compact is in Excellent Vintage Condition. I believe the compact is from the late 1920's.
The compact is silver tone on the outside. The front has bands of green and yellow enamel. The yellow enamel is embellished with periwinkle colored forget-me-nots. The back of the compact is all yellow.The enamel is in excellent condition.  The lip stick tube is yellow enamel with one forget-me-not. The enamel shows wear as shown in photos. The tube is empty, it is a very snug fit to open. The compact and lip stick tube are connected  with a silver finish bar chain. The inside of the compact has a gold finish. One side has a powder puff, that is in nice used condition, and a compartment for powder, there are still traces of powder present. The other side has a shiny finish that can be used as a mirror. Inside it has a cake of blush. It displays beautifully.  The compact measures approx. 5 1/2 " long when it is laid straight and flat with chain extended. The compact by itself measures approx. 2 1/2" X 2" and the lipstick tube measures approx. 2" long and approx 1/2" in diameter.  Please look closely at photos because they give the best description. I continue the great closet cleaning project, so keep checking back I am always adding clothing as well as some random household decorator items, some collectables and antiques, holiday decorations and anything else that finds it way into my path.
