VINTAGE 1920'S VALLEY ELECTRIC
TYPE ABC VACUUM TUBE RADIO
BATTERY CHARGER
Valley Electric Battery Charger.  This is an all original 1925 Valley Electric ABC Radio Battery Charger.. Overall in great condition with wear as shown, wires are still pliable and flex easily. This has not been plugged in or tested, and is ultimately an amazing display/museum piece of portable radio history.
From the Nov 1923 Popular Science ad:  One Charger for Every Radio battery-And, in fact, the only one which you need.  Keeps strong clear signals in your set by keeping the batteries to full capacity.  The Valley Type ABC Battery Charger is made for all storage batteries - 2 -volt peanut tube batteries, 6-volt A Batteries and 1 to 4 B Batteries.  Bakelite panel, glass top - belongs to a radio receiving set.  Frankly, production is limited.
Late buyers are going to be disappointed.   A lot were last year. Ask to see the Valley Type ABC Charger at any good radio shop.  Per :"Built in a black case with grained and engraved Bakelite pane and clear glass top. Designed to charge 2, 6, 12 volt "A" batteries; and 24, 48, 72, 96 volt "B" batteries.""capable of recharging a storage battery between signing-off time tonight and listening-in time tomorrow."
